FAQ's
Whether you’re wondering how the process works, what to expect, or if mobile injection services are right for you, this FAQ is here to provide clear, reassuring answers. If you don’t see your question listed or need personalized support, feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help make this journey as stress-free as possible.
Can you give me medical advice or recommendations about my treatment?
No. My role is solely to administer medications that have already been prescribed by your doctor and to offer emotional support throughout the process. I do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
Can you help my egg donor or surrogate?
Absolutely! I regularly support donors and surrogates and understand how challenging it can be to manage a medication protocol alongside a busy schedule. I'm happy to assist both intended parents and their donor or surrogate throughout the process.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens! I understand that schedules can change. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your appointment, 50% of the service fee will be retained.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Before my visit, I’ll need a signed order from your doctor indicating which medication you need, the dosage, and the time it should be administered.
How much does your service cost?
Pricing depends on the type of injection and the frequency of visits. Contact me for a personalized quote based on your needs.
How do I book an appointment?
Booking is simple! You can call, text, or send a message through my website to schedule your appointment. If you’re on a specific IVF timeline, I recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slots.
Do you offer support for partners who need to administer injections?
Yes! If your partner will be helping with your injections, I can teach them proper techniques to ensure safe and painless administration.
What if I have multiple injections at different times of the day?
I can work with your schedule to ensure you receive your injections at the correct times. If you require multiple visits per day, we can arrange a plan that works for you.
I’m nervous about giving myself injections. Can you teach me how?
Absolutely! If you’d like to learn how to administer your own injections, I can guide you step-by-step, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable doing it yourself. Many patients find this training helpful, especially for long treatment cycles.
Can you help with all IVF-related injections?
Yes! I have extensive experience administering fertility medications, including stimulation injections (Gonal-F, Menopur, Puregon), trigger shots (Ovidrel, Lupron, Pregnyl), and progesterone injections for post-transfer support.
Where do you offer your services?
I currently provide mobile injection services in Vancouver, BC, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether I serve your location, feel free to reach out!
Are your services available for single injections, or do you offer ongoing care?
Both! I offer one-time visits for patients who need occasional assistance and ongoing support for those undergoing multi-dose treatments, like IVF stimulation cycles or long-term therapy.
Do I need a prescription or referral to book your service?
No, you don’t need a referral. As long as you have a prescribed injectable medication and clear instructions from your doctor, I can assist you.
